Android auto not working

Is it a system with or without integrated TomTom Navigation? If it is without, you might have a system that does not support Carplay/Android Auto. Check your firmware version: if it something like 076A or 076B (the letter is the key to know it), then you have such a system without CP/AA. If you have C or D, the system should support CP/AA and it is then a problem of the cable being used.
