Thanks Burty....Hope You Are enjoying you're car..
It is lovely. I've done nearly 3000 miles since getting it in October. It is very nice to drive.Comfortable and Performs well when I need it, plus fuel economy seems to be improving.I achieved over 60mpg on today's university run to Warwick and back.

There does seem to be some improvement in deliveries, unless it is my imagination. Some of us 'long waiting' people are now getting our cars.

Done about 1000 miles in mine and mpg is around 53, so a little disappointed in that but maybe it will improve. Admittedly the 1000 miles have been a very mixed bag of driving conditions and types.

Very bizarre on Saturday. I pulled into the car park in Banbury and it was full. I saw a car backing out so waited. I thought the car looked familiar and it was actually a white 2008! I wonder what the chances of that were?!

Hi Trevor, looked out for your caron Sunday whilst in Brackley
paying a visit to the antique cellar, we still haven't seen any other 2008'shere in MK, glad you areenjoying yours.

I must admit I do look for yours in MK as I'm normally over there a
fair bit. But size wise, guess ther's more chance of your seeing me in
Brackley than me seeing you in MK! I live totally the opposite end of
town to teh antique cellar though. And, to be honest, there's not much
to go into Brackley town centre for unless you are looking to buy a
house, get a takeaway or get your hair cut!

Ah, the antique
centre - Brackley's only tourist attraction! If I only had a a pound for
everytime someone asks me where I am from and I say "Brackley" to which
I get a reply "Isn't that where the antique cellar is?!". Do you like
that kind of thing? Only don't know if you know it but there is a
massive car boot sale on the Finmere Airfield site on a Saturday
morning. Get there early though as it is normally very busy. From there,
on your way back to MK, you can stop of at Buckingham Garden Centre and
contribute to my wages should you buy something! Actually, I know I
work there, but it is one of the nicest Garden Centres in the area -
family run and independent. Has a really nice restaurant too if you
fancy food or just a cuppa and a slice of cake.
