The new "ECO" brake plates sucks, my disks looks like an old pick-up...a lot of"hills and valleys"...in this manner I must change the brakes at 60.000km... My old car changed at 140.000km the disk brakes...not eco, but very economic...this Eco bull-sh*t they say (no Pb in brake plates) is only a marketing hoax, as we change a lot the steel disks, the production of them will increase and also the pollution... Also you will be stunned to see what residues remain after this Eco brake plates...gives you a head-ache...

You need to appreciate that the discs are a consumable. My experience on modern cars (last 15 orc so years) that discs need to be replaced at every other pad change.

It is worth remembering how much better modern brakes are when compared with the equivalent cars of 30 years ago.
