Hello,

Hopefully next month I should be getting my new Pug
. Having never owned a brand new car before (newest was 6 months old) I was wondering if it needed to be treated differently for the first few miles? What have other 2008 drivers done? I'm hoping to do a bit of drive (London - Plymouth) a month or so after it arrives. Is it recommended? So many conflicting answers online.

Just drive normally. Modern cars do not need 'running in'. Having said that don't over rev it or make it struggle in too high a gear. Just let it run freely and you will have no problems.
