Dont know why but I topped up with £7 of diesel the other day, to the top. However if anything the needle is lower and has not returned to the top. Could this be because the amount of fuel was so small and hasn't registered with the sensor? Im paranoid that the needle is stuck now. Doing 200 miles this weekend so the needle should drop a quarter-ish.

I can't say I ever use the fuel gauge really.I just check the range indication in the centre screen.

Hand book says:

Additions of fuel must be of at least 5 litres to
be registered by the fuel gauge.

PS: I notice it says 'at least...' so you may have been just below the amount to register. Try £10's worth next time.

... and that's something else I still have to find out how to use properly!

Just keep pushing the button on the end of the right hand stalk until the instantaneous fuel consumption is shown. The top line is fuel range remaining. :)

The Fuel gauge is too far over to the right to be of interest ;)
