Hi guys, Just wandering if anyone coud offer any advice. When going into the multi story at work after a 27 mile trip i go to turn up the ramp in 1st gear at slow speed at near full lock and i get a really high pitched screech coming from what seems the drivers side wheel! it doesnt normally happen when turning at higher speed or if i turn the wheel at a stand still. The car has just under 4000 miles on it.

Thanks a lot

Chris

Depending on the surface it's the tyre 'slipping' sideways as it's being forced into a smaller radius than the diff can accommodate - perfectly common on most cars.

It's definitely the concrete surface and not your car. The multi story car park at Plymouth's Drakes circus mall does it all the time.
