Well I got two layers completed but then was disappointed when I tried to progress onto the third layer.

Every time I found one wrong move and it was completely screwed again.

I tried to follow some of the videos on YouTube but found most of them difficult to follow (some were just so fast it was incredible!).

Having threatened myself with just breaking it apart and re-assembling it manually I decided to try one more time.

Again I got to two layers completed and then I decided to look for another demo.

I am pleased to say this one I found is brilliant. Each level is clearly shown at a speed you can follow and the complicated final layer has the algorithm shown so that you can copy it onto paper to memorize for fun and to impress colleagues.

Have a look in the drawer and dig out that old Rubik's Cube and get it completed.

For those of you patiently awaiting delivery of your new 2008 it is an ideal way to pass a few hours, days or even months.

Enjoy and impress: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmnSpUgOvyI" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">How to solve Rubik's
Cube</a>

Have fun.

My son can solve three Rubiks cubes in under 4 minutes.

Personally I cannot get past the second layer as I refuse to use any form of tutorial. Still 35 years later.....
