Pretty frustrated 2008 GT owner since buying myself a iPhone 17 Pro which comes with IOS26, the CarPlay option does not appear despite every effort.
I have deleted my profile, reconnected the phone numerous times, factory reset the Infotainment system, and in a last ditch attempt I reset my iPhone to no avail. My wifes older iPhone works perfectly well.
Is this a known issue with IOS26?
Additionally, I cant figure out how to use the inbuilt navigation system because the Navigation icon is not appearing either. When I press the Home button I just get the attached pages.
Hopefully I am just missing something obvious but I cant see how to activate it.
