Peugeot has announced it has built the 100,000th 2008 crossover, less than a year after its launch. The milestone car rolled off the assembly line at the Mulhouse plant in France and was handed over to a customer from the Paris region during a ceremony attended by Corinne Spilios, the Director of the Mulhouse production center and Xavier Duchemin, Director of Peugeot France.
Peugeot says 68 percent of the 2008's sales are for upper trim levels, a testimony of the brand's move up-market in the B segment.
