Happy New Year etc
Our Pug has had to go back to the dealer after the EML came on during the wife's commute on Friday. Turns out the 'reverse alternator' is bored and needs a replacement (following approval from Pug) for just shy of £1,000 minus labour.
Obviously it's a warranty job so no problem there, and a Googling didn't bring anything up which suggests it's isolated and we're unlucky, but wouldn't want one failing out of the warranty period!
I'm assuming it's the stop / start system, and the car lit up like a Christmas tree after the dealer had a poke about so we're in a 208 for at least a week. Car's 4 months old on ~6000 miles.
