Evening all, I'm am looking to put a reversing camera on my 2014 mk1 2008, and integrate it in to the existing touchscreen as I don't want to put another screen in the car. I have seen some camera interfaces on ali express and looking for recommendations, also not wanting to spend allot of money if I can help it

Thank you so much that's is a massive help, when my next pay comes in I'll get that sorted. On other question, on the y loom that is in this link it mentions camera power. would I need to run a wire from the loom to the cameras power to activate it ? And on yours does the reversing camera come up instead of the parking sensor graphics ?

Thank you for the heads up on the forum post as I have been wondering where people have been putting the extra boxes for thoes modules. Will have to see if mine has that space under the steering wheel

My car is 2014 Feline mistral and you should have the same recess under steering wheel. Yes, you will need to run reverse camera wires to the loom. I didn't know how to access the reverse light wiring so I bought ÂŁ20 reversing camera and paid ÂŁ150 to car shop to install it. That was most expensive part of install but I was probably over charged.

The settings on the module can be adjusted so that the reversing camera and the parking sensors will both be activated when reverse gear is engaged. There is a video on that post showing features of box.

I paid ÂŁ155 for my box 2 years ago but for the same brand is more than ÂŁ200. There are lots of brands that do the same thing but prices vary considerably. Just make sure you get one compatible with your smeg or nac headunit. The box is relatively easy to install as it is plug and play and you retain original peugeot headunit and controls.
Heya Jinkue12,

I have purchased the unit and Installed it today but I can't get the headunit to switch the the module, I have the call and list on one button on the SW and I have selected the relevant switch selection on the module switch selector (7 or 8 little switches) eg no1 in the "ON" position and the rest in off position. But sadly nothing when trying to turn on the unit. It is recieving power as the switch green light is on and when I press the list button on the SW I can hear a click from the module unit. Have you got any ideas ??

TIA

Hi. So my unit doesnt have the switches so I can only advise to set the buttons according to the instructions.

What happens when you try to switch between the units? Do you get a black screen? Have you got a sercure LVDS(display cable) connection and are they plugged in properly?
