My 2008 has just stressed me out earlier today, turning on the SERVICE lamp (the one underneath the rev counter), but without any other warning lamps being on.

Pressing the 'Service information recall' button (bottom-right of the instrument panel middle section) shows 'No fault' message. No error messages are displayed anywhere (or at least I haven't seen any.)

Could that be because I'm within last 30 days before the end of her first year, and this is just her way of asking to be, um, serviced? Or does it suggest something more serious after all?

I am going to check with my dealer tomorrow anyway, but hearing that this is a normal and expected behavior would help with tonight's sleep. ;)

Press and hold the service button for 10 seconds. It should put it out.
