Hi, am a newbie so some info about the car, 2014 , 1.6 TDI allure model, 61k , owned it just over 2 years
The problem I have is, hit a massive pothole, now the car vibrates/ drums on nearside ( checked exhaust and suspension) does this while under 'load' usually runs smooth on cruise control at 25 mph in 4 th, 32 mph in 5th, now vibrates bad anything under 35 /4th, 48/5th, any ideas would help me please, sounds similar to the internal CV problem
Cheers

Has a wheel rim been damaged or bent? Or maybe you have lost a wheel balance weight during the impact.

Hi
Thanks for the reply
That's one thing I haven't checked , but would that 'drum' through the whole car?

It's difficult without actually feeling the vibration, but as you've hit a pothole I'd put my money on damaged wheel and/or tyre it is also common for this type of impact to have knocked the tracking out.
Yes it can set up a vibration through the car.
