I have had my 2008 GT for a year now, and the car drives really well.
However the infotainment system has a very annoying INTERMITTENT fault, where the screen flickers or is completely BLANK.
Took the car in for its 1st Service and told the Dealer what the problem was.
They told me, that if they could not find a fault they would have to charge me for their time at ÂŁ67 an hour.
I did not accept this, and thankfully they agreed to test, with no charge.
Of course they came back telling me no fault could be found, and suggested my c to c lead was the problem, in that when I use the Android Auto Sat Nav, it also drops off with no warning.
They also suggested I might like to take a photograph of any future BLANK screen.
Funnily the next day I was traveling to Glasgow with my wife in the car when the screen went Blank again, just before it went off a message appeared which said....
'THIS INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR VEHICLE'!!
As I was driving and my wife was with me, she managed to photograph this message and then VIDEO me driving with a blank Screen and no heating controls.
I sent this to the Service Dealer who say they sent it to Peugeot?
According to the Dealer they want me to leave my car for a WHOLE DAY for tests.
As a customer who has produced evidence of the intermittent fault I would have expected Peugeot to instruct the fitting of a new module.
Dealer of course can not take my car in for another 5 weeks!!
