Just had a warning message and light today on 2016 GTLine 1.6 (120)

Message: Engine Fault Needs Repair

Light: Engine Warning light stays on when engine running (no exclamation mark in middle)

Popped into local garage who hooked it up and came back with NOX sensor (apparently quite a common thing)

So booked in to have new one fitted next Friday. Part cost in region of ÂŁ240 + VAT + Labour (Up to 2 hours)

Anyone else gone through this pain?

I was a bit surprised at the ebay prices too and not sure if genuine parts or not...

The garage did say the labour could be a lot less than the 2 hours if the old one comes out easily without problems like stripped threads etc... which I would hope would be the case on a 2016 plate!

Sorry the GTLine (120) is a diesel.

I save over ÂŁ320 on fuel each year over a petrol equivalent, so the first costed part in 3.5 years still makes the car cheaper to run. It obviously depends how many miles and what kind of driving you do as to whether it's better to choose one over the other. I think you can guess that as we have 2 Diesel GTLine (120) which suits us best.

I have a Peugeot 208 2016 1.6 diesel. The exhaust was hanging down, bracket / clip had broken and engine management light came on. Got it repaired at local garage which removed light however now back on. Done my own check with basic diagnostic kit which gave 2 codes (although repeated them 3 times each),

P2207 - Nox sensor heater control circuit high bank 1

&

U0140 - Lost communication with body control module.

Anyone with any similar experience / knowledge around these codes?

Cheers
Nope, but I would get someone to check things, connections and the like underneath.
